About the event
After the overwhelming response to our inaugural April night, the Lux Comedy Collective returns to the velvet shadows of CineMama. Our mission remains unchanged: to strip away the distractions of large-scale venues and return to the raw, electric heart of stand-up. For this edition, we welcome international headliner André De Freitas. An award-winning comedian with a global career, André has performed across Europe, the US, Dubai, and Australia, and won Best International New Act at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
His debut solo show “What If” premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe to critical acclaim, earning multiple 5-star reviews and recognition for some of the funniest jokes of the festival.
Known for his sharp, personal storytelling and global perspective, André blends cultural insights, life experiences, and bold humor into a performance that connects with international audiences.
